HOLLYWOOD — The Pixologic ZBrush User Group (ugm.pixologic.com) will meet on December 4, at The Los Angeles Film School. Notable artists Neville Page and Ian Joyner will both share their insight as to how they use ZBrush in their respective workflows.
Page served as lead creature/character designer/modeler on Avatar, Star Trek

Cloverfield
. Recently, he finished the specialty costume and helmet designs for
Tron Legacy
. He is currently working on
Green Lantern
and
Spiderman 4.
Joyner is a character designer who specializes in design and development for film and games. For over 10 years he has worked on next-generation games, feature films, music videos and product output/rapid prototyping. For the past two years he has been a senior character designer/concept artist at Legacy FX, doing character design and creation. He continues to run a small freelance development studio, and also spent more than four years at Blur Studio. He is currently working on a number of feature projects that are in development, including Thor, Cowboys and Aliens, Real Steel, I am Number 4
, and
Spiderman Reboot
.
The event is scheduled to take place between 5pm and 9pm. The Pixologic team will be on-hand and attendees will have a chance to win a free license of ZBrush 4. In addition, 20 percent discount pricing will also be offered.
