CINEFORM/INTEL DEMO HINTS AT 3D WORKFLOW POSSIBILITIES
With CineForm First Light 3D as the enabling 3D workflow and production engine, Neo3D users are provided with comprehensive control of the 3D image processing workflow. The CES demonstrations by Intel on a PC powered by the Core i7 processor hint at what will soon be viable in the realms of consumer-level 3D production.
According to David Taylor, CEO and co-founder of CineForm, the demonstration showed how Neo3D could decode multiple HD streams simultaneously, adjust color and 3D parameters, and add 3D text overlay, all in realtime on the Core i7 architecture.
