UNIT OPENS NEW COLOR SUITE
Unit specializes in commercials, promos, feature-length programming and music videos, and already has one suite, operated by colorist James Willett. The new room will help the studio cope with a growing demand from high profile clients.
Astbury has worked with a number of production companies and international broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Nat Geo and Discovery. His UK credits include work on Gok’s Fashion Fix, 3 Men In Another Boat, Francesco’s Mediterranean, Last Man Standing and Richard Hammond’s Engineering Connections.
His new room features Color, which is part of the Final Cut Studio suite. Also featured are Tangent Devices’ CP200 modular control panels and a Cine-tal Cinemage 10-bit monitor.
Unit is starting work on the new Watchdog series and on The Culture Show.
