SIGGRAPH: CRAFT TOOLS EASILY ANIMATE VEHICLES
Version 9.2.1 features a completely redesigned user interface. Users can create new tools quickly with the pop-up window or undock the window into a floating window to create multiple tools.
Individual show/hide buttons are available for dummy objects and high-polygon models for every tool, enabling users to rig faster and easier. Tools can now be organized more intuitively within the tree hierarchy and folders. And the configuration window features all of the tools in the scene in a hierarchical list.
A new license manager window contains all information about the existing license, and the new version is fully backward compatible with Craft Director Tools.
For Craft's 4-Wheeler Extended tool, performance has been increased. Users can now adjust tire pressure as well as drive on multiple surfaces. And the Craft Spline Speed-Controller now has the ability to create a curve (path for the carriage) using only waypoints. Banking and gravity can also be adjusted for the carriage.
Craft is offering an extended trial period for all tools (seven days per tool). When the trial period is up, tools will continue to work, but will not be saved with saved scenes, and a mandatory countdown before recording will apply.
