SHINING SHOWS FLASH-BASED STORAGE SOLUTION
The unit is battery operated and can run for eight hours. It easily attaches to FireWire-enabled cameras. Footage can be captured in DV, DVPro50, HDV, QuickTime and AVI file formats. Material is then immediately accessible by most popular nonlinear editing programs.
Shining also showed the CitiDisk R258 in a working prototype form. The portable storage solution uses iVDR cartridges with 250GBs of capacity. The company expects to deliver the R258 before the end of the year.
