RAINMAKER NAMES WINDER PRESIDENT, ADDS TO EXEC TEAM
In her new role, Winder will refocus and reinvigorate the studio toward family-oriented content, as well as continue its successful service-based business. She has been consulting with the studio recently, and one of her first steps at the studio will involved the production of an original short animation project titled Luna.
In addition to her Lucasfilm ties, Winder (pictured) was also a senior VP of Production at Fox Feature Animation. She has produced such series as Spawn and Spicy City for HBO, and Aeon Flux for MTV.
In related news Kim Dent Wilder has joined the Rainmaker management team as senior vice president of production and operations. Wilder rejoins Rainmaker after a three-year break during which time she was COO of Nexon Publishing North America, a Vancouver-based global online entertainment company. During her previous stint at Rainmaker, she was VP of production.
And, Tara Kemes has joined Rainmaker as manager of talent development. Kemes was most recently manager of recruitment at NPNA. Prior to that, she was a senior gaming recruiter at Relic Entertainment/THQ.
