JET STREAM SOUND OPENS IN BURBANK
Larimore is a former re-recording mixer for 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. His credits include DVD mastering for Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother and The Simpsons. Previously, he served was director of audio services at Elektrofilm in Burbank, where he established the company's sound department. His background also includes posts as a sound editor, sound designer and re-recording mixer with Sunset Digital, Anderson Video/4MC, Chace Productions and Mix Magic.
Cahill is also the owner of Sticky Notes Music, through which he provides music composition and arrangement services for film, television and live theater. His credits include music for Party of Five, Touched by an Angel, Six Feet Under and 'Til Death.
Jet Stream's all-new facility incorporates a tapeless workflow. Studio A features a Digidesign ICON D-Command integrated console in an Argosy Mirage workspace with Pro Tools|HD. Studio B also features Pro Tools|HD with Magma Expansion and range of plug-ins.
The company's full mix of services includes HD sound creation, commentary recording, mastering and restoration for DVD and Blu-ray, music production, and voice-over/ADR recording. It also offers space and a Final Cut Studio 2 system for picture editors.
On the game front, the studio has contributed to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II (Relic Entertainment), Company of Heroes (Relic Entertainment) and Stormrise (Sega).
