FLICKERLAB CREATES 13 HOURS OF ANIMATION

FlickerLab got involved early in the development of the project, which combines character animation, motion graphics and some live-action footage. According to FlickerLab managing partner/creative director Harold Moss, the studio was tasked with animating the type, developing a sense of character for each letter, making them fun to watch, and also making sure that every sound effect, gag and motion helped carry the information.

FlickerLab shot live-action at Globus Brothers Studios in NYC. The Mac-based studio used Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver, as well as Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Compressor on the project.  Storage included G-Tech and LaCie Firewire drives, as well as Apple's Xserve, Xraid and Xsan. FlickerLab uses Wacom Cintiq and Intuos 3 tablets.
