DUCK USES STOP-MOTION TO ANIMATE SPONGEBOB
The piece runs roughly :45 and takes the show’s star on a rollicking adventure beneath the ocean and into outer space, all through landscapes handcrafted by Screen Novelties.
SpongeBob, the pirate and fish featured in the open were created using a mixture of stop-motion, cardboard animation and puppetry.
The open was directed and produced by Mark Caballero, Chris Finnegan and Seamus Walsh
