BOOT CAMP LOOKS AT DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING

Everard set up The Enigma Channel a decade ago as a vehicle for broadcasting high quality documentaries. The boot camp he’s now hosting is designed to train a new generation of camera-operators, animators, editors and directors, all in an effort to build The Enigma Channel team.

Everard will personally present the five days of master classes (www.EnigmaTV.com/bootcamp), and says no prior knowledge of filmmaking is necessary.

“A new wave of camera and editing equipment has finally delivered what I’ve been waiting for – the ability to produce cinema quality films using desktop computers and the new breed of HD camcorders which allow you to use 35mm lenses and get that awesome cinema look. I shall guide you through the latest camera and editing technology, which will get you up and running as a bona fide film maker – producing films to the same image quality standards as top directors in Hollywood.”

The course takes place the second week of April and its cost includes accommodations, food, wine, and airport pick-up. The cost does not include airfare to the South of France.

Each night will conclude with an after dinner discussion of a subject that might make a suitable film projects: ghosts, UFOs and other esoteric matters, for example.
