BLAZING MUSIC+SOUND OPENS 'AUDIO D'
“We’ve been blessed with a significant increase in our long form broadcast work,” says Eric Johnson, executive producer of Blazing Music+Sound. “We feel extremely fortunate to be in the position of adding staff and rooms, especially given the current economic climate. We want to ensure that we can handle the increase in television work without negatively impacting our other clients.”
Blazing is also seeing an increase in work from advertising agencies and video game companies. The boost demanded that the studio renovated two of its existing audio suites and one of its recording booths. In addition to cosmetic enhancements, new Grace microphone preamps were added for all the suites and a new Digidesign Pro Tools 003 system was purchased to help with dialogue editing and preliminary mixing of television, film and game projects.
Blazing is providing on-going audio post for TLC’s hit series Jon & Kate Plus 8 and 18 Kids and Counting. The studio is also working on shows for Animal Planet and Discovery, among other networks.
