AES REVEALS PLANS FOR OCTOBER CONVENTION
The convention is set for October 9-12 at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
AES executive director Roger Furness notes that in addition to the exhibit hall where manufacturers will showcase their latest technology, this year’s show will also address the growing sound-for- games business.
“In keeping with the AES mandate to remain indispensable to next-generation attendees, a special effort has been made to address the rapidly expanding game production community,” says Furness. “Engineers, producers, sound and music creatives currently employed or planning to enter this field will find a comprehensive program designed to cover a major portion of the game production lexicon.”
