VIDIOTS UNITES ALICIA KEYS WITH WNBA & ESPN
Amoia directed and edited the project. First, he created a montage featuring still photos of WNBA players, working with ESPN supervising producer Valerie Fischler. The montage would be used as an on-set video that played on a big-screen display behind Keys while she performed.
She was captured in a multi-camera HD shoot during a rehearsal at Anaheim, CA’s Honda Center, early on in her As I Am Tour. The “Superwoman” track was also edited to its one minute-length for the shoot by Keys’ engineer Ann Mincieli.
Back at Vidiots, Amoia used an Avid to combine the ballad-style footage with hand-held shots of Keys’ walking to the stage and elements from the performance.
