STEPHEN ARNOLD MUSIC SONICALLY BRANDS 'RACHEL MADDOW SHOW'

In addition to the main show theme/open, Stephen Arnold also created supporting themes for bumpers, teases and other elements, all under a tight timeframe.

“When we talked with MSNBC, we saw they wanted music that was unique, hip, energetic and contemporary to match Rachel’s personality,” explains Stephen Arnold. “It meant capturing the spirit of a show that really deals with the issues, in a way not typically seen on a national cable network.”
 
The show debuted in September and does well with the 25-54 demographic. Marc Greenstein, creative director of MSNBC adds, “The show continues do very well, with music that doesn’t overstep her - it fits her.”
