HIMANI CONTRIBUTING VFX TO FILM & TV PROJECTS

The studio recently provided over 50 shots for 20th Century Fox's feature Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg. Co-founder Kevin Kutchaver also served as 2nd unit director on the remake of the horror film The Children of the Corn, for the Sci-Fi Channel, under producer/director Donald P. Borchers. The studio is providing all of the visual effects for the project.

On the direct-to-video front, HimAnI created and produced over 100 visual effects shots for the DVD release of Starship Troopers 3, for client Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. And for the independent horror film, Don't Look Up, Kutchaver is serving as VFX supervisor. The film is currently in post production and revolves around evil spirits that are released from old celluloid, causing a film crew to slowly go insane.

HimAnI is currently producing an all-CG/animated film entitled Hide and Seek (pictured). Written and directed by HimAnI co-founder Kathy Zielinski, the stylized horror film depicts a "toy's nightmare." Modelling and painting is being done in Luxology's Modo. Messiah Studio is being used for animation. NewTek LightWave is also being used for modelling and for rendering too. Compositing is being performed in Adobe After Effects. Applications are running in OS X Intel Macs.
