BWN GROWS LA PRESENCE WITH OUTLAW ACQUISITION
Following the purchase, BWN hired Steve Pierson, who brings significant post experience to his management position at Outlaw. Pierson is a composer, producer and recording artist who has contributed to feature films, episodic television shows and commercials. BWN co-founder Ken Brahmstedt met Pierson three years ago and kept in touch over that time, regularly exchanging audio files and demos.
Fellow co-founder Carl White says Outlaw's recording facility is the perfect complement to BWN's creative music and sound offerings. “It adds a distinct audio service brand to our fold, helping BWN's LA office to more clearly focus on content production."
Outlaw has hosted session with talent that includes Charlton Heston, Mae West, George Burns, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Cary Grant and Vincent Price. The studio has posted spots for numerous agencies and has worked on projects for the BBC, Sundance Channel, GMBH, Virgin and Sony. The Outlaw brand will remain intact.
