BENT ANIMATES ALLTEL'S LATEST HOLIDAY SPOT

WATCH THE SPOT

While Chad and Santa are enjoying the holiday spirit, the sales guys are trying to create a season of "taking" rather than giving. But their effort to vacuum up Alltel phones backfires and soon they are instead sucked away. Agency Campbell-Ewald conceived the Town Tree spot, which was directed by Bent's Paul Harrod and executive produced by Ray Di Carlo.

Tsui Ling Toomer served as senior producer and Chel White acted as creative director for Bent, with Kara Place producing. The spot was created using a combination of sets and props, along with computer animation. Jerold Howard and Eric Urban served as principal animators, with Sarah Hulin also contributing. AJ Deflaminis headed the CG crew.

JD Dawson supervised editorial for Bent. Compositing was handed by Tarn Fox, Orland Nutt, Brian Kinkley, Evan Larimore, Alan Winston, Jay Twenge using Adobe After Effects. Traci Cook also worked on 2D compositing.

The spot was color corrected at Downstream in Portland by Jim Barrett. Downstream also provided sound design and mixing services. Digital 1 in Portland contributed sound editing services and Hollywood's Margarita Mix provided sound recording.
