In his role as senior VP, post production services, Warner
Bros. Studio Facilities, Barnett supervised both the facilities and staff that
are responsible for a diverse range of post sound services, including sound
editorial, Foley, ADR, dubbing, scoring, re-recording, sound design and music
composition. He also played an integral part in the massive, multi-year
renovation of the Warner Bros. Post Production Sound facilities, including the
design and construction of the new Post Production Sound facility, which opened
its doors in November 2005.
Additionally, Barnett was a key player in the
major upgrade and remodel of all existing facilities and services, such as film
and television re-recording stages, DVD audio mastering suites and sound
editorial suites, and the vital restoration of the historical Eastwood Scoring
Stage.
Prior to that, Barnett served three years as senior VP/GM of Warner Hollywood
Studios. He was also once president of Raleigh Studios, where he oversaw the
development and creation of a post production facility, 50,000 square feet of
soundstages, 100,000 square feet of production offices and new screening rooms.
