Company co-founder David Hare says the studio is venturing
into the creative "cinema-quality, realtime cinematics market,"
thanks in part to the technological advancements of videogame consoles such as
X-Box and PlayStation 3, which can deliver high-quality audio and video.
Fellow co-founder Michael Tigar says the company is also
getting into production of its own original content via computer-generated
feature films, while staying committed to its existing client base.
"We have always been fueled by a passion for
storytelling," Tigar explains. "It's a natural evolution for us to embark on
creating our own stories."
The studio's recent credits include videogame trailers for
the titles Brutal Legend, Prototype, Call of Duty 4, Stargate Worlds and Prince Caspian. Tigar Hare also worked on a Hot Wheels commercial for
Mattel that stars a fire-breathing dragon, as well as half the episodes of new
Webisode series Afterworld.
Currently, Tigar Hare is producing the next Wheel of Fortune game for M.G.A. Entertainment/Sony.
