At the upcoming
NAB show in Las Vegas, SpectSoft will introduce RaveHD 2.5, a new version of
the company’s turn-key, Linux-based, hybrid uncompressed digital disk drive
recorder and VTR replacement. The new version will be capable of dual 4:4:4
capture and playback in a single box. It will also support 2K, all
1080 & 720 interlace & progressive HD formats and SD.
SpectSoft
plans on delivering RaveHD 2.5 later this month and says owners of the 2.0
product will be able to upgrade their units.
