Bonnstetter began his entertainment industry career at Boss
Films in the mid 1990s as an intern, and soon became a self-taught artist.
There he got his first break, working on the films Species, Airforce One and The Fantasticks.
He later went on to work with Asylum, Believe, Hydraulx and
Money Shots.
At Asylum, he continued his feature work, contributing to X-Men,
Black Hawk Down and Minority
Report. He also contributed to Master
and Commander, which received an Academy
Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. More recent film credits include Alien
vs. Predator 2, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and The Invasion.
Bonnstetter also gained experience working on commercials
while at Asylum too. His spot credits include projects for Nintendo, Boeing,
Chevy and Coke. On the music videos side, Bonnstetter has contributed to
productions for Outkast, Metallica, The Offspring and Dave Matthews Band.
