PostWorks' Sound Group now has a total of nine mixing rooms,
with five in Midtown and another
four in Soho.
Koch began his career at CD mastering house Digital Dynamics
Audio, while also completing two European tours as part of the chamber choir,
the Duquesne Chamber Singers. He joined Sony Music Studios in 1998, and went on
to contribute to major television, theatrical and album projects for Sony, MTV,
VH1, CBS, NBC, HBO, Columbia Records and J Records, among others.
He served as sound editor on the 2003 documentary Tupac: Resurrection; as
sound mixer for the featurette Made in Heaven - The Making of Kind of Blue;
and as sound mixer for the MTV2 $2 Bill Concert Series
featuring Kanye West, DMX, Method Man and Ludacris. His work as a contributing
audio post mixer for the NBC special Tony Bennett: An American
Classic was just recognized with an Emmy
for "Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Music or Variety Show."
