NOMAD SETS UP NEW YORK STUDIO

Nomad was founded by Tom Muldoon, John Murray and Scott Carleton, who originally met at Propaganda. Since Muldoon and Murray typically spend between three and six months a year working in New York - out of gracious host Chinagraph -  the dedicated space made sense.

The new 5,000 square foot space is located on 21st Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The office is networked to Los Angeles for seamless collaboration between all editors and Santa Monica-based sound designers Francois Blaignan and Tom Stamatio.

McMurtrey is the newest addition, having previously worked as an editor with Crew Cuts on commercials for Pepsi, NFL, Hershey's, USGA, Pizza Hut and New York Lotteries. She is also know for her work on six seasons of Saturday Night Live's popular commercial send-ups, including "Tressant Supreme" with Kelly Ripa, "Taco Town," and "Fear Factor Jr." Her resume also includes film work.

Executive producer Mannino brings a wealth of experience to the studio including a six-year tenure as co-founder/EP of editorial house 3 Fingered Louie, and eight years as producer for Mad River Post.
