Hong brings with him a background in art, as well as production experience. His 25-minute film Sleepyhead, which he wrote, directed and edited, won top honors for art direction at The First Run Festival 2005. In 2003, his original screenplays "Second Coming," and "Do Something" were finalists in the Sloan Science Film Grant Competition and the Showtime/NYU Short Film Collaboration.
Prior to joining HomeNYC, Hong worked with the consortium on a number of projects, including an ESPN 2 Grand Slam Tennis job and on an animation/live action campaign for Six Flags. His skills as an editor and VFX artist have attracted a steady stream of fashion and beauty clients ranging from Revlon and Almay to Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger. And he also has music video credits that range from camera work and editing, to compositing and graphics.
