GHOST RIDER MEETS JACKSON HEWITT

The spot features Ghost Rider in a typical tax preparation office where a Jackson Hewitt representative does his best to quickly process his file before the office becomes engulfed in flames.

Quiet Man founder/creative director Johnnie Semerad and his team has just two weeks to create the spots' effects, including Ghost Rider's skull, bony hands, and a lot of leaping flames.

According to Semerad, Josh Jaggers and the team at Sony Pictures Imageworks provided Quiet Man with all of the elements needed to do the animations. A team of artists used Autodesk Flame and Inferno to remove the actor's head. Another team, using Softimage|XSI created the flaming skull that would replace it.  Flame was used to composite the skeleton and fire elements

The commercial was conceived by agency DeVito Verdi and was produced by Go Film with Neil Tardio Jr. directing. Homestead's Charlie Bender cut the spot, with Kevin Palmer assisting. Sound Lounge's Glen Landrum mixed the project.

Quiet Man credits include compositors Steve Koenig and Elsa Tu, along with CG artists Craig Vance, Charlie Breakiron, Anderson Ko, Tim Kim and Sandor Toledo.
