As the man zips up her dress, a flash-forward reveals the
couple undressing. Back in the present, the man drops the tickets and embraces
the woman. The spot ends with a shot of the carpet littered with clothing and
tangled sheets at the foot of the bed. The female voiceover notes,
"Bluefly.com...Fashion that turns every head in the place. Even if you never
make it to the place."
Outside editor Scott Gaillard created the final edits, first cutting down the
footage into a :77 piece. He then lifted the pair of spots from it. The agency
liked the long version so much that they took it to the client and sold it as
an Internet spot as well as a promotional handout for distribution during
Fashion Week in New York and Los Angeles.
Michael Haussman of HSI/LA directed the project. Sam Barden assisted Gaillard
on the edit, with Steve Mottershead handling the online. Company 3's Billy
Gabor served as colorist on the project, which features music by NYC's Sacred
Noise. Eric Thompson and Brett Fuchs of Berwyn created the final mix.
