Characters can now interact with fluids in physically-plausible manners. Additional
effects, such as moving fluids and waves are also supported. The Control Panel
plug-in for Maya allows animation generated by a Maya control rig to be mapped
onto an endorphin character. Animation generated by Endorphin can also be
mapped onto a Maya control rig.
The Push physical effect behavior allows a force to be applied over multiple
frames. The Twist physical effect behavior allows a rotational force to be
applied over multiple frames.
A new stickiness parameter has been added allowing users to
model the effect of sticky surfaces. Format support has also been improved to
include the new Acclaim 2 file format. A new library of standard simulation
characters and prop characters, a revised endorphin User Guide, and additional
tutorials for fluid, push and twist physical effects are included too.
