The importance of
these fish tanks is played out as metropolitan pedestrians come across a person
with a shattered casing. Aid comes and the only hope seems to be returning the
beings back to the sea. The tanks, which surround the characters' head, used
double-paned glass, giving the illusion of a functioning aquarium while
allowing actors to breath.
Quiet Man VFX artist Karen Heston was called on to
digitally manipulate the water in scenes featuring band members and the video's
two central characters. Using a color warper and other color-correcting tools
within Autodesk's Flame and Inferno, Heston removed evidence of the panes by
retouching the tanks and rebuilt reflections. Marine flora and fauna were also
added to mask lines in certain scenes.
FM Rocks' Cesar
Delucia was the producer on the project. Kopach created the final 3:16 edit.
