Avid's senior product manager Tim Wilson and application editor Steve Holyhead will be on hand to showcase new Avid tools. Holyhead will cover workflow features, including the new P2 format, as well as support for native MXF editing, subtitles and file-based media management.
Wilson will demonstrate Avid's new software-only Media Composer for the Mac. The release offers HD support, including the new offline resolution, along with improved effects, including some previously available only on Avid Symphony Nitris.
The Editors' Lounge will begin at 6:30pm and demos will start at 7:30pm. As always, the event is free and open to editors and other professionals within the production and post production community.
