Poser 7 has been optimized for multi-threaded rendering and
now makes better use of the GPU. Multiple "undo" functionality has also been
added.
The Version 7 release introduces two new realistic 3D Poser
figures: Sydney and Simon. In addition, upgrades have been made to Poser's
animation system. Nonlinear animation features allow users to keep the clips
they like while making adjustments to others on the timeline. The Talk Designer
lip synching feature analyzes sound files and automatically creates appropriate
mouth, head and eye movement.
Included with the application is 1GB of content on DVD that
ranges from textures and figures to clothing and motion capture poses.
Pricing is $129 for an upgrade (from Version 4 on) or $249
for the full Version 7 release. E Frontier is also offering bonus content for
users who pre-order the V.7 Mac or Windows release.
