PowerDirector 5 Premium offers support for high definition
video and 16:9 aspect ratio content. HDV and MicroMV camcorder capture support
has been added. Two new "Magic" tools have been added as well. Magic Style
automatically applies a pre-set style to footage while Magic Fix sharpens
images and stabilizes shaky shots. The Title Designer now supports multiple
text layers, and a draft-quality setting allows for faster previewing of clips.
The full version of PowerDirector 5 Premium is priced at
$89.95. An upgrade from Version 5 is $29.95. Earlier versions can be upgraded
to the newest release for $49.95.
