While he
has edited longform projects, Hellman’s real passion is spot work. In addition
to editing, he can also provide motion graphic design.Hellman
is excited about joining Cut + Run (www.cutandrun.tv) and working for
co-founder/editor Chuck Willis, who he has known for over 10 years. He will
also be working with editors Mike Douglas, Jon Grover, Anthony Marinelli and
Adam Jenkins.
"Chuck
has assembled a high-end group of people who have fun and yet always operate on
an exceedingly professional level," says Hellman. "It is a great
environment and we share a similar philosophy about work and creative
collaboration. I always knew we would be reconnected and am excited to have
that come to fruition at Cut + Run."
"He
is a longtime friend and someone who's abilities I admire greatly," notes
Willis. "Chris is the kind of editor who does cuts that I look at and say,
'I don't think I could have done that.' He is also one of the rare ones that
does visual and comedy equally well. He's a super talent, a grown up, and a
great source of positive energy to have around the office. We are very lucky to
have him with us."
Hellman’s
work includes projects for Miller, BK, Nike, Coke, Volvo, Jaguar and Compaq, to
name a few, for agencies J. Walter Thompson, The Martin Agency, BBDO, Young
& Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, Chiat|Day, Lowe and Saatchi & Saatchi.
