"The development of this shared space came out of a
combination of opportunity and a sense of community," explains BWN
co-founder/composer Ken Brahmstedt. "We enjoyed working in close proximity
while under the Hi-Wire banner, so we decided to keep that intact. We have the
best of both worlds - independent businesses with connected space - in the heart
of downtown."
Gasket Studios' founder/creative director Greg Shultz adds
that the new space is close to its advertising clients, which include
Carmichael Lynch, Fallon, Martin Williams, BBDO and Campbell Mithun.
Gasket's (www.gasket.tv)
new studio space includes suites running Discreet Flame and Smoke, Autodesk
Maya Unlimited, Adobe After Effects and Apple's Motion and Final Cut Pro.
BWN's (www.bwnoise.com)
space includes three studios. Suite A is designed for tracking and surround
work, and features high definition video projection capabilities. Suites B (pictured) and
C also have access to the large live room for recording sessions with remote
monitoring via video cameras. In addition to the studios, BWN has a producer
office and a recording booth situated between the B and C suites.
