Tsui Ling Toomer (pictured) most recently has held the position of associate dean at the Art Institute of Portland. In less than 12 years, she managed to establish herself in academics as well as in the media production industry. Her production experience includes producing and writing promos for the Comedy Central. While in New York, she worked as the second crew DP for Academy Award-winning director Lee Grant on a Lifetime series, Intimate Portrait of Cyndi Lauper and as a program management associate at PBS. Her television production experience includes working as the producer at KATU Channel 2 (ABC) in Portland.
For more than 12 years, Jim Clark worked on feature film projects and numerous commercials for clients such as Coca Cola, Showtime, Sony, The Smithsonian, CBS, NBC, Procter & Gamble, Cartoon Network, Kellogg’s and Hewlett Packard. In addition, he’s taken on many roles, including director, producer, visual effects supervisor, animator, art director and post supervisor. His recent work as digital compositor can be seen in the feature film, Reefer Madness.
After working as an assistant for Robert Zemeckis, Gretchen Miller met and partnered with Jim Clark and Animationwerks in Santa Barbara, CA, where she produced visual effects for feature films and commercials. She went on to co-create Firehouse Tales, an original children’s show that was acquired by Warner Bros. and is now shown daily on the Cartoon Network.
