DVS’s products deal with the material in high resolution. The scanned data is stored on a DVS-SAN, which allows parallel editing processes. The DI workstation Clipster thereupon creates high-definition SD and HD dailies required for offline editing.
“We can now provide a favorable system for creating, conforming and finishing digital dailies up to creating a final film master,” says Harald Brendel, head of application engineering at Arri.
“Integrating the Arri color management in Clipster has proved to be very successful in 2005,” notes Bernhard Reitz, head of product management at DVS. “Our partnership will now result in a high-end digital dailies system.”
