Post Logic's Kelvin Duckett.
HOLLYWOOD - Post Logic Studios (www.postlogic.com) has added a number of new members to its management team, including Kelvin Duckett, who joins the Hollywood facility in the newly-created position of managing director. Joining Duckett are executive producer Peter McEvoy and VP of sales Cheryl Brady. The team will work closely with Manny Fernandez, managing director of Post Logic N.Y.C., and will report to Post Logic Studios' president Steve Hendricks.
Duckett has over 20 years experience in the post industry, having co-founded with Hendricks, Virgin's post companies 525 and Virgin Mexico. Most recently he was director of post production services at Weller Grossman Productions, where he lead a production transition from standard definition to HD. Previously, he was managing director of POP TV, a division of Pacific Ocean Post, and president of Medialab, a motion capture studio owned by Canal Plus in Paris.
McEvoy comes to Post Logic from LaserPacific Media Corporation where he was responsible for the sales, budgeting and workflow of digital intermediate, digital cinema and feature mastering services. He worked as a producer on digital cinema and high definition projects at the Sony Pictures High Def Center and as a post production supervisor for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Brady was most recently president of Lightning Media, where she oversaw all aspects of the company's operation during her 12-year tenure there.
Post Logic is planning a multimillion-dollar capital expansion that will include new film scanners and recorders, 2K and 4K color correctors, and an extensive new storage area network.
