GARY GROSS NAMED PRESIDENT, BMG PRODUCTION MUSIC WORLDWIDE

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - Gary Gross has been promoted to the newly-created position of president for BMG Production Music Worldwide. Gross was previously president of BMG Production Music NA.

From full orchestral movements to musical cues and sound effects, BMG Production Music's content is used throughout advertising, television and film. Its libraries include Atmosphere, Koka, First Com, Killer Tracks, Zomba, Bruton, Chappell, Match, UBM and Network. BMG's collection has been featured recently in "The Apprentice," "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "American Idol," and in major films such as "Shark Tale" and "Miss Congeniality 2."

In this new role, Gross will be responsible for worldwide profit and loss, as well as strategy, global marketing, production and Web sites for BMG's global production music libraries. He will continue to head BMG Production Music NA.

Gross joined BMG's Killer Tracks Production Music library in 1996 as VP, marketing. He was elevated to VP/GM of Killer Tracks in 1997 and was later named senior VP/GM of the company. In 2002, he was promoted to president of BMG Production Music. Prior to Killer Tracks, Gross spent over 15 years in marketing with such major companies as Proctor & Gamble, Kraft, McKesson Corporation and wine cooler company California Cooler.
