MIAMI - Colorist John Palmisano has joined Cineworks Digital Studios. He comes to the facility from Manhattan Transfer/Miami and joins colorists Leonardo Stagno, Matt Perrin and Raphael Perez.
An 18-year veteran, Palmisano got his start in New York City's TVC Video. He spent time in Colorado working for the Denver-based Telemation Productions, then moved down to San Paolo where he consulted and trained colorists for a Kodak venture in Brazil. After a short stint in Puerto Rico, he moved to Miami in 1996 and worked for Post Edge. In 2002 Post Edge joined forces with BVI and emerged as Manhattan Transfer/Miami.
Palmisano's spot reel includes projects for McDonald's, the Truth Anti Smoking Campaign, American Express, Pampers and Volkswagen. Long-form credits include work on "Bad Boys 2," "Any Given Sunday," and projects for the Discovery Channel, Univision, Telemundo and MTV.
