LOS ANGELES - Automat Pictures (www.automatpictures.com) produced a number of value-added elements for client Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's DVD release of "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," which hit streets Dec. 28.
Automat co-president Jeffrey Schwarz notes, "This is a return to familiar territory for us, having produced the first 'Resident Evil' DVD. This time around we've created a jam-packed disc that fans of the video game and movie franchise will appreciate as they eagerly await the next sequel."
For the "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" DVD, Automat Pictures produced these value-added features: Game Over: Resident Evil Reanimated, a thorough six-part making-of documentary; Game Babes, featurette focusing on stars Milla Jovovich and Sienna Guillory; Corporate Malfeasance, a featurette on the real world similarities to the Umbrella Corporation; Symphony of Evil Special effects deconstructions; audio commentary with director Alexander Witt, producers Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer, producer/screenwriter Paul W.S. Anderson, and stars Milla Jovovich, Oded Fehr, and Sienna Guillory.
