SAN FRANCISCO - Little Ferry, NJ-based Eventide (www.eventide.com) was at this year's AES show with the latest in its series of TDM plug-ins for Digidesign Pro Tools. The H3000 Factory plug-in is based on the company's Factory algorithms from its H3000 rack-mount unit, which was originally introduced in 1988.
The tool lets users combine up to 18 effects modules, creating a near limitless variety of sounds. While the hardware version is no longer available, the plug-in for Mac- and PC-based Pro Tools systems will be available the end of this year.
Eventide also showed a new version of its H8000 ultra-harmonizer effects processor. The new H8000A offers four channels of analog in and out, combined with four channels of AES/EBU, ADAT and S/PDIF.
