At Halon Entertainment we pride ourselves on a company culture that promotes both creative excellence and employee wellbeing. When we became aware of the severity of the COVID-19 global pandemic and realized the effect it could have on our teams in North America and the UK, we decided to proactively start investigating what it would take to transition to remote workflow without compromising on the strict IP protection practices necessary for feature film work. I’m proud to say that today marks the third week of successfully managing a 100 percent remote workforce.
I am thankful to our technical, artistic, production, administrative, and leadership teams who have kept the health and safety of our employees as top priority, while continually striving to maintain the quality standards we hold ourselves to. While this transition has not been without challenges, I would like to publicly acknowledge everyone at #teamHalon who has been supportive, flexible, and innovative in their approach to this problem.
Our business is fully operational and ready to create. We will persevere through this difficult time and come out stronger than ever on the other side.
