ALIOSCOPY PARTNERS WITH AUTODESK & SOFTIMAGE FOR 3D DEMOS

LOS ANGELES – San Diego-based Alioscopy USA (www.alioscopy.com), introduced its new 3DHD-40 autostereoscopic 3D LCD display technology at SIGGRAPH. The technology allows viewers to experience 3D without the need for special glasses.

The 3DHD-40 is developed and manufactured by Alioscopy, and features a highly specialized lenticular lens that boasts high quality, clarity and depth. The system also supports realtime capabilities that enable viewers to interact with content for a truly immersive experience.

Artists can easily create 3D content with software applications such as Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Maya, Softimage|XSI, Maxon Cinema 4D and NewTek LightWave 3D, and render it out for display on the 3DHD-40.

The company has displays set up at key venues throughout the course of the show, including training and education areas for Softimage and Autodesk, and at the Softimage SIGGRAPH press room.

Softimage Training & Education Events are taking place at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown. Softimage’s PR suite is located at the Grand Wilshire Hotel. Autodesk Master Class Events are taking place at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.
