Blackball shows Rich Media File System

SAN DIEGO æ Blackball (www.blackball.us) is showing its Rich Media File System digital asset management at this year's SIGGRAPH show, which provides a storage solution for rich media content.

The system does not require a database and helps reduce storage needs, yet also provides quick access to data, faster saving of data and quicker set up. The digital asset management tool works with all rich media types and offers seamless integration with desktop environments. Users can store multiple file versions without having to save them under different file names. RMFS file versioning allows for complete point-in-time file rollback for easy corrections from user error or system problems.
