REALVIZ ANNOUNCES V.3.0 OF MATCHMOVER PROFESSIONAL

LAS VEGAS - France's RealViz www.realviz.com will unveil the latest platform release of its automatic tracking software, MatchMover Professional, at the NAB show this week. Windows and Linux versions of MatchMover Professional V.3.0 are scheduled for release this summer, while a Mac OS X version is expected for later this fall.

MatchMover Professional automatically tracks 3D camera data and motion from videos and film sequences. Version 2.5 of the application began shipping in September 2002.

In addition to workflow and speed enhancements, Version 3.0 of the application will include a variety of new features such as the ability to handle motion control data, 3D object model-based tracking, 3D tracking of cameras and multiple objects in the same session, the handling of survey points, and a new graph editor toolbox.

The company is also showing a MatchMover Professional product in Las Vegas code-named Corsica, which has been developed in close collaboration with a selected number of leading international post production houses.

"Corsica has been designed in close collaboration with, and for, top-rank professionals," says RealViz CTO Luc Robert. "The amount of new interface and technology features is stunning. This gives Corsica a combination of power, ease of use and versatility with which professional users are sure to get an accurate solve in 100 percent of the cases, with optimal efficiency."
