Post production has always been an industry undergoing change and today exciting changes are happening faster than ever. New camera systems are allowing filmmakers to work at higher resolutions and higher frame rates, and new post production technologies are enabling facilities to support filmmakers’ quest for innovation. As a result, end users theaters, cable outlets, broadcasters — and ultimately consumers — are getting a better-quality and more-inventive media.

When we moved from standard definition to high definition television, professionals and consumers alike experienced an “aha!” moment because the images were observably better. Today, the advent of 4K, high dynamic range imagery, and higher frame rates is bringing those aha! moments back, and that’s exciting.

Smart facilities like Modern VideoFilm are keeping pace with change by staying current with today’s and tomorrow’s technology, while mindfully managing the costs. We are partnering with technology manufacturers and our customers to continually improve and implement new technologies and more efficient and advanced workflows to meet these ever higher expectations.

The world is getting smaller. That’s true for all businesses, but it’s especially evident in post production. Today we collaborate in realtime with our clients and staff halfway around the globe. We are taking full advantage of cloud-based technologies, streaming technologies and fiber services to be a global-servicing, forward-facing facility.
