SANTA MONICA - Island Fever Productions (www. island-fever.com) is continuing to create CG for client Meijer Department Stores, having completed work on a new spot that is part of Meijer's "Toy City Christmas 2001" campaign. Tetherball is the fifth spot Island has produced for Meijer, and features two baby penguins that play ball using a third smaller penguin. The studio used its own proprietary animation and rendering solution to create the commercial. Michael Necci served as animation director on the project.
