FIRST QEDIT PRO NLE INSTALLED IN LONDON

LONDON - Soho-based post house Image Makers Digital Facilities Ltd. (IMD) has installed a new Quantel QEdit Pro nonlinear editor, which will serve as the studio's primary online finishing system. IMD is a 14-year-old studio with six video editing suites and a comprehensive audio room. The company has based its business around mainstream online work.

IMD (www.imagedigital.co.uk) director Dave Austin says the new Qedit Pro will further improve the positive customer experiences. "It's a great editor," he says, "a giant step forward from anything else available on the market - and it's also got all the bells and whistles that clients ask for. I dislike the term ‘one-stop shop,' but the QEdit Pro offers clients everything they need in one place to produce a great result, quickly and with ease. As a member of Quantel's generationQ, QEdit Pro shares the same interface and toolset with other systems in the family, so it will also benefit from every development across the range."

The system was supplied by Quantel's UK reseller, McMillan.
