NEW YORK CITY — Independent audio facility Sound Lounge (www.soundlounge.com) has promoted Liana Rosenberg to head of production. She will be responsible for overseeing all production activity at the studio, as well as supervise its team of staff producers. Rosenberg will also serve as a key liaison between the studio and its advertising agency and post production clients, and play a lead role in forecasting, budgeting and marketing. Her roll includes the management of production activities for Sound Lounge Everywhere, the company’s remote sound production service, which currently has outposts in Boston and Boulder, CO.
“Liana is a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has grown into this role by consistently demonstrating her skill, savvy and commitment to our clients,” says Sound Lounge COO and partner Marshall Grupp. “We are departing from the traditional model for sound facilities in appointing someone to a management position who is focused exclusively on production. Liana will ensure that we continue to meet deadline, budget and creative commitments, and deliver excellence to our clients.”
Rosenberg joined Sound Lounge in 2016 and previously served as senior producer. She has produced sound design, editorial and mixing sessions for scores of advertising campaigns, including work for Subway, IHOP, Bud Light, AT&T, Ford and FIFA World Cup. Her background also includes a production postition with Hyperbolic Audio.
“I look forward to working in a position where I can use my insights and experiences to help others succeed,” she says. “It’s a great time to be at Sound Lounge and to work in sound. The company is growing, evolving and expanding into new areas. I’m excited to be part of it.”
