LOS ANGELES — Colorist Joe Finley, whose credits include the HBO series Game of Thrones, has joined The SIM Group’s Chainsaw division. He brings more than 20 years of experience in features and episodic television, and will work out of a DI theater at Chainsaw’s Hollywood facility. The studio is equipped with Blackmagic Design’s Da Vinci Resolve grading system.
Finley is currently grading Season 5 of Game of Thrones. He comes to the studio from Modern VideoFilm, where he had been a senior colorist for nearly two decades. His credits there span more than 100 features, including
The Descendants, 3:10 to Yuma and
Walk the Line.
