CULVER CITY, CA — VFX and design house Artemple-Hollywood (www.artemplehollywood.com) produced all of the visual effects featured in the new Warner Bros. filmEntourage. The studio completed more than 150 VFX shots, many of which involved crowd duplication, tracking and compositing, CG elements, and 3D matte paintings.
The studio’s 3D matte paintings were integrated into the production of Entourage, allowing the filmmakers to shoot in one location and have it double seamlessly for another. Wei Zheng, principal/ executive creative director with Artemple-Hollywood, says, “Working with the filmmakers on Entourage was a wonderful experience. We were thrilled to have been part of the process behind such a fun project.”
Entourage was directed by Doug Ellin and produced by Closest to the Hole Productions. It stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven.
